Today, Vietjet’s brand-new aircraft, an A321 (coded VN-A667), will expectedly land at 17h30 (local time) at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City after flying from Hamburg in Germany.
The aircraft is the twelveth of the milestone agreement between Vietjet and Airbus for acquiring and leasing 100 aircraft. With its advanced design of less fuel costs and CO2 emissions, the new aircraft is expected to boost the carrier’s efficiency and protect environment.
On the same day, Vietjet also received a leasing A321 (code LZ-PMZ) which landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 14h30.
To welcome its fleet’s newest members, Vietjet has operated 1,000 more flights. Moreover, to meet the surging demand during holiday season, Vietjet also launched new routes connecting destinations within Vietnam and other countries.
“With this addition to its fleet, Vietjet is now operating 32 brand-new and modern A320s and A321s, helping the new-age airline to further develop its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region”, said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh – Vietjet’s Managing Director.
