C.I. Travel Group has partnered with Blue Islands to operate its new summer 2016 charter service to bring visitors directly from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Guernsey.

The new service from Liverpool will see flights operating every Saturday for 16 weeks from 4 June throughout the summer until 17 September, following the successful Air Transport Licence application to the States of Guernsey’s Commerce and Employment department.

Robert Mackenzie, C.I. Travel Group’s Managing Director said:

“CI Travel has always had a strong presence in the North West of England but it has been over 20 years since visitors were able to travel directly to Guernsey from Liverpool. We believe that this new opportunity to visit the Bailiwick for a holiday and fly direct from Liverpool will prove very popular.”

Rob Veron, Blue Islands’ Managing Director added:

“We are committed to supporting tour operator and local tourism partners and are delighted Blue Islands has once again been selected by C.I Travel Group to operate this service. We look forward to welcoming more visitors to discover our beautiful Baliwick of Guernsey.”
