flydubai has today announced its Half-Year Results for 2016 and has reported total revenue of AED 2,302 million (USD 627 million) an increase of 5.4% compared to the first six months of last year and a loss of AED 89.9 million (USD 24.5 million) 39% lower than the same period last year.

Emirates is set to upgrade its service between Dubai and Khartoum with the deployment of a larger Boeing 777-300ER on the route from 1st September 2016.

Saudia has taken delivery of its first A330-300 Regional, making it the launch customer for this new member of the A330 family.

Emirates will operate a special one-off Airbus A380 service to Amman on 25 September, marking 30 years of commitment to Jordan.

Emirates recently enhanced its presence in Southeast Asia with the launch of a new daily linked service from Dubai to Yangon (RGN) in Myanmar, and onwards to Hanoi (HAN) in Vietnam.

Oman Air has announced further expansion to its global network with a new destination starting in September 2016.
