Allegiant this week celebrates the start of new low-cost, nonstop flights to Phoenix from Fresno, California, Memphis, Tennessee and Des Moines, Iowa.
“We’re excited to launch these new flights to the Phoenix area, giving these three communities a new ultra-low-cost and convenient opportunity to visit the Valley of the Sun,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning.
“We’re confident that local travelers will take advantage of this new service, launching just in time for a warm winter escape and we look forward to bringing even more visitors and economic growth to the area.”
The new flights will operate twice weekly and expand on the service Allegiant currently operates to Phoenix / Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA).
The new flights will bring over 100,000 additional visitors each year to the Phoenix area.
“We’re deeply proud of our partnership with Allegiant and are thrilled that Allegiant continues adding flights to great American cities like Memphis, Fresno and Des Moines” said Jane Morris, executive director of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
“We look forward to welcoming more travelers to our beautiful state, and we’re excited for Arizona residents to experience the sights and sounds of these great cities.”
