Mokulele Airlines announced that they will begin serving the community of Santa Maria, California starting October 10, 2016.
The airline will offer daily flights between Santa Maria and Los Angeles California with connecting flights down to Imperial/El Centro, California.
“We are honored and thrilled to be invited into the community of Santa Maria,” said Mokulele President Rob McKinney.
“What we’re bringing to California is exactly what made Mokulele Airlines Hawaii’s favorite Island Hopper – highly competitive prices, the most modern commuter fleet in the U.S., convenient schedules, great reliable service, and on time flights.”
Mokulele will initially operate three, nine-passenger Cessna Grand Caravans. The aircraft provide passengers with an air conditioned cabin and comfortable leather seating that is both an aisle and window. Although the Caravan can be operated by a single pilot, Mokulele operates all flights with two pilots for additional safety.
“Safety has always been our top priority. Like everything we do at Mokulele, going above and beyond for our passengers is just how we operate”, Said Mckinney.
That even includes four-legged passengers.
“Dogs and Cats are welcome aboard. In Hawaii we have a very popular pets fly free policy. Any breed or size dog that is well behaved is welcome on Mokulele. Being a family-owned and operated airline means we treat every member of the family like family.”, said Mckinney.
“Santa Maria is a great opportunity for Mokulele and we believe the convenience of Mokulele is perfect for those individuals who need to get to Los Angeles”, Rob McKinney added.
