SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, announced that Bradley W. Blake has been named Vice President – Operations Control Center (OCC).
Blake’s current Managing Director role is being elevated to Vice President as the OCC plays an increasingly important role in SkyWest’s overall operation and performance. Blake will continue to oversee the SkyWest Operations Control Center, including its team of dispatchers, system controllers and operational quality team, and will be responsible for coordinating with each of SkyWest’s operational departments to ensure SkyWest’s 1,800 daily flights operate safely as scheduled. Blake reports directly to Chief Operating Officer Mike Thompson.
“Brad has played a significant role in SkyWest’s improved operational performance over the last two years,” said Mike Thompson, SkyWest Airlines Chief Operating Officer.
“The industry continues to demand reliable operations and the OCC is essential to our ability to meet those demands. Brad’s demonstrated experience, agility and leadership will help SkyWest continue to perform at the highest level.”
Blake holds nearly 20 years of SkyWest experience and received his Dispatch Certificate while attending Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. He has previously served as Senior Director – OCC at Spirit Airlines and has held numerous positions at SkyWest, including lead operations supervisor and manager OCC/System Control. He and his wife, Samantha, reside in St. George, Utah with their two daughters.
