JetSmarter today announced the acquisition of 15,000 hours of flight inventory, valued at $50 million over five years, from Europe’s private jet company GlobeAir, to boost its footprint in Western Europe.
Following the completion of a $20 million series B funding round earlier this year, JetSmarter, which democratises the private aviation industry by seamlessly connecting travellers with private jets, is bolstering its supply of JetDeals across key Western European markets through the acquisition of GlobeAir’s inventory.
This joint venture means JetSmarter will initially add availability of 12 Citation Mustangs to the app’s JetDeals section, resulting in a broad access to more than 1,500 European airports, from Portugal to the Ukraine and from Italy to Norway, including those with short runways typically out of the reach of large private jets and airliners.
