Air Algerie to buy 40 planes starting from 2018

Air Algerie is planning to launch a new program for the acquisition of around 40 aircraft between 2018 and 2025, CEO of the company Mr. Mohammed Abdou Bouderbala said.

The purchases will be in accordance with the various funding formulas, including sales via leasing.

The implementation of the first part of the purchase plan will be in the period between 2018 and 2020, according to Mr. Bouderbala, adding that in 2018 the air fleet will be strengthened by four planes, while the second part will be in the period 2020-2025.

This program will allow the company to raise its fleet to about one hundred, which is currently 60 aircrafts.
