From May 31 through September 2, 2019, Aeromexico will offer customers service on its Mexico City-Calgary seasonal route.

This new route will be operated with Boeing 737-800 airplanes with 160 seats, including 16 in Clase Premier, Aeromexico’s Business Class Cabin.

Aeromexico’s Chief Revenue Officer, Anko van der Werff said:

“We are pleased to return to Calgary, a destination that not only expands our route network but also promotes cultural and tourist exchanges between Mexico and Canada. On behalf of Aeromexico, I thank the Calgary Airport Authority and Travel Alberta for their support. This bridge in the sky expresses the commitment of Mexico’s global airline to offer its customers the best flight connection options.”

On this new route, Bob Sartor, president and CEO of the Calgary Airport Authority, said:

“The connection allows Albertans traveling to have a direct link to access to Mexico City, where they will also be able to access Aeromexico’s extensive network that connects to major markets in the Caribbean, and Central and South America.”

In addition, Royce Chwin, CEO of Travel Alberta added:

“We are pleased that Aeromexico is reestablishing a link between Calgary and Mexico City this summer”. “This flight will allow us to welcome more Mexican travellers to Alberta and further develop lasting economic ties between our two countries.”

Aeromexico thus continues to strengthen its presence in the region, through a full- service flight experience while also reaffirming its commitment to promoting tourism and cultural exchange in the communities it serves.
