On October 2nd, 2018, Air Georgian reached a tentative deal for a new collective agreement with CUPE Local 4059, the union that represents approximately 83 flight attendants at Air Georgian’s Toronto base.
The agreement will be presented to union members for approval before the end of October. Once ratified the new deal will be effective for three years.
“I am pleased that a tentative agreement has been reached,” said Eric Edmondson, President and CEO of Air Georgian Limited. “I would like to acknowledge the hard work and goodwill that all parties invested in this process to ensure our collective growth and success.”
Air Georgian began flying for Air Canada in 2000, making them the longest serving capacity purchase agreement partner of the Air Canada family. Air Georgian operates over 64,000 regional flights per year on behalf of Air Canada, carrying over 1.5 million passengers a year to 31 domestic and US destinations.
