Aeromexico And Gol Linhas Aereas Sign Codeshare Agreement


Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, and GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes announced the implementation of their new codeshare agreement for flights booked after November 7.

With this agreement, Aeromexico will now offer service beyond São Paulo to 13 cities served by GOL in Brazil, including Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Cuiaba, Curitiba, Florianopolis, Fortaleza, Goiania, Navegantes, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont y Galeao, Salvador, and Vitoria. Customers flying out of Mexico City will now be able to check their baggage directly to those destinations, thereby enjoying a more streamlined travel experience on both carriers.

Aeromexico has served the Brazilizian market for the last 17 years, and currently offers seven direct weekly flights on the Mexico City-Sao Paulo route from its main hub in Terminal 2 at the Mexico City International Airport, with its Boeing 777 airplanes with 277 seats, including 49 in Clase Premier, Aeromexico’s Busines Class Cabin.
