Located on the Mediterranean island of Malta, directly south of Italy, European Pilot Academy is perfectly located for students wanting to stretch their legs by training at one of Europe’s hidden island treasures. Training flights often visit various airports around the Mediterranean, including parts of Southern Italy and Scicily.
Malta is blessed with beautiful weather and due to its location south of Europe, doesn’t experience such harsh weather conditions, especially in Winter. Malta is renowned for its picturesque coastline and vibrant culture, certain to provide plenty of entertainment and excitement.
The flight school itself is located at Malta International Airport, with student accomodation available in the heart of Malta’s vibrant shopping district. The student residence has been recently refurbished and includes meals and wifi, with laundry facilities available for a small fee.
European Pilot Academy maintains a state-of-the-art fleet, including modern single and multi-engine aircraft. The current fleet includes:

These aircraft are safe and modern, and are recognised worldwide as ideal types for pilot training.

Airways Aviation is constantly broadening its range of effective Flight Training Devices to meet the need for high level flight simulation standards.

European Pilot Academy staff and instructors are highly qualified with a wealth of knowledge from both commercial and military aviation experience.
European Pilot Academy boasts a full range of courses including Private Pilot’s License, Commercial Pilot’s License and Airline Transport Pilot License. Along with the licenses available, the school provides training for Night Rating, Multi-engine Rating and Instrument Rating qualifications. Notably they also offer a ‘Zero to Airline’ course, for students with no previous flight experience. This trains students to a level at which they can fly commercially, all in one streamlined course. All students graduate with EASA licences, valid in every EASA country and accepted worldwide. Also offered is an ICAO to EASA license conversion course. All classes are in English, so students must be proficient. The school does however welcome international students and will assist with visa and accomodation arrangements. They can also help with transport and airport transfers for arriving/departing students.
