Caribbean Airlines Cargo has formed an alliance with ground transport handlers Forward Air, to facilitate the trucking of large volume cargo from New York and Fort Lauderdale to the airline’s Cargo Hub in Miami, for shipments into the Caribbean.
Commenting on the alliance, Garvin Medera, Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Customers shipping cargo to the Caribbean out of New York and Fort Lauderdale, can now do so at one flat rate with no capacity restrictions.
“The freighting process is seamless and hassle-free as Forward Air will handle all ground transport needs to Caribbean Airlines’ Cargo hub in Miami and we will handle the air freight. Customers will only be required to drop off their cargo at designated ports and we will take care of delivery to the intended destinations.”
