Spirit Airlines begins new daily nonstop service to and from the Baltimore-Washington International Airport and the Orlando International Airport this week.
In addition to today’s new service, Spirit Airlines will begin twice-daily nonstop service between Baltimore-Washington International Airport and the Boston Logan International Airport, and once-daily service to/from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, starting April 21, 2016.
With these additions, Spirit will operate nonstop service from Baltimore/Washington to twelve cities, including Atlanta, Boston (starting 4/21/2016), Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit (4/21/2016), Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Myrtle Beach, and Orlando.
“Spirit continues to grow here at BWI Marshall, which means more ultra-low fares and more travel options for our customers,” said Ricky Smith, Chief Executive Officer for BWI Marshall. “We welcome the added service from Spirit.”
