From December 15, 2019, Vietnam Airlines will officially launch a new route connecting Hanoi and Macau (China) with daily flights.
The new route opens up attractive opportunities for passengers who wish to visit one of Asia’s most famous tourist attractions and entertainment hubs.
Vietnam Airlines operates flights from Hanoi and Macau both in the early mornings and late evening hours. Accordingly, flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday will depart from Hanoi at 7:45 PM and from Macau at 11:50 PM. Flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday will depart from Hanoi at 4:00 AM and from Macau at 8:35 AM.
In early November, Vietnam Airlines also announced the opening of additional routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Shenzhen (China), with the first flights scheduled for November 27 and 28.
The Hanoi – Macau route is the 17th route to China and the 62nd international route of Vietnam Airlines, expanding the airline’s flight network to 101 routes.
Located on the Southeast coast of China, Macau is one of the two special administrative regions of China with a highly developed economy and vibrant tourism sector. Macau attracts tens of millions of visitors every year, not only thanks to its animated tourism options, shopping districts, and entertainment activities but also by its unique blend of Eastern-Western cultures, architectural styles, and cuisines.
Passengers flying to Macau can easily visit nearby areas such as Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, as well, then take a Vietnam Airlines’ direct flight from these locations back to Vietnam.
