Passenger traffic at Essaouira Mogador Airport in Morocco recorded an increase of 26.24% during the first six months of 2016, compared to the same period in 2015.

According to statistics issued by the National Office of Airports, 32,032 passengers used the airport in their travels during the first half of the year 2016, compared to 25,373 passengers during the same period in 2015.

This boom comes as a result of flights connecting the city of Riyah to Paris with three flights a week, and the route linking this city and London two flights a week.
