Bombardier appoints new President of Aerostructures & Engineering Services

Bombardier announced the appointment of Jean Séguin as President, Bombardier Aerostructures & Engineering Services.

In his new functions, Mr. Séguin will oversee the activities of this new business segment specializing in the design and development of complex composite and metallic aerostructures. He will report directly to Pierre Beaudoin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier Inc.

Jean Séguin joined Canadair in 1981 as a Composites Material Engineer. Throughout a successful career spanning more than 30 years, he has held several managerial positions at Bombardier Aerospace, including Vice President, Operations; Vice President, Engineering and Supply Chain; and Vice President, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and New Programs. Mr. Séguin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Master of Business Administration from McGill University.
