Air Botswana announced the re-introduction of the direct service between Maun and Cape Town, effective 25th March 2016.
The direct service will be operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Botswana’s Transport and Communications Minister Tshenolo Mabeo recently announce that his ministry has mutually agreed with Air Botswana general manager Tozivazvipi Dahwa to terminate his employment contract. Reports indicate that Dahwa, who is a Zimbabwean national, has also come under pressure of stacking the Air Botswana top management with his countrymen, some of them with chequered past records and under criminal investigations.
Mabeo also announced that the Air Botswana board of management has also been dissolved. “A new board will be appointed at the earliest possible time so that the operations of the organisation are not affected”, a statement said.
