Airlink to connect Pietermaritzburg and Cape Town

Airlink announced that it will be introducing a new route operating between Pietermaritzburg and Cape Town, commencing on 6 February 2017.

Airlink will offer a daily return flight Monday to Sunday using one of its 20 Embraer 135, 37 seat regional jet aircraft,  connecting the two significant  regional cities, Pietermaritzburg, the Capital and second largest city in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal, with Cape Town, the mother city.

“This, is an exciting development on our domestic route network, which we believe will be popular with both business and leisure travelers,” Says Karin Murray Marketing & Sales Manager.

All businesses, industries and communities located in and around Pinetown, Kloof, Hillcrest, Howick and the Midlands will benefit from the new service. Flights will depart from Pietermaritzburg at 07h00 and arrive in Cape Town at 09h10 and depart again from Cape Town at 17h35 and arrive in Pietermartizburg at 19h30.

Pietermartizburg Airport is easily accessible and offers travellers a convenient walk on – walk off airport experience and parking in close proximity to the terminal building.
