Alitalia launches new services from Bologna to Calabria, Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria

Alitalia will boost services in August from Bologna to Calabria with four new weekly flights, two services for Lamezia Terme and two for Reggio Calabria.The airline will also start a new daily Bologna to Catania service from May 1. Alitalia travellers from Bologna can transfer with ease at Rome’s Fiumicino airport to 70 destinations in Europe, North America, South America, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia including convenient connections to the air carrier’s new long haul routes to Santiago which starts on May 1 and Mexico City which begins on June 16.

From Guglielmo Marconi airport in Bologna Alitalia will serve four domestic destinations this summer – Rome, Catania, Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria – with a total of 32 weekly flights.

The new Bologna to Reggio Calabria flights will depart on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.55 pm and arrive at 2.35 pm.  Flights from Reggio Calabria will leave at 10.30 am and arrive in Bologna at 12.10pm, landing in Bologna at 12:10 pm.  The new Bologna to Lamezia Terme service will operate on Mondays and Fridays and depart from Bologna at 1.10 pm and land in Lamezia Terme at 2.50 pm. From Lamezia Terme the aircraft will leave at 10.45 am and arrive in Bologna at 12.25 pm.

The new daily service from Bologna to Catania will depart at 10.00am and arrive in Catania at 11:45 am.  From Catania the aircraft will depart at 7:30 am and arrive in Bologna at 9.10 am.

All of the new Alitalia flights will be operated by 165 seat Airbus A320 or 138 seat Airbus A319 aircraft.
