Allegiant announces 6 new routes and 2 new cities

Allegiant today announced six new routes along with its arrival in two new cities.

The North American low-cost airline will be expanding its nonstop services to include Trenton, New Jersey and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“We’re very excited to add several new routes and two new cities to the Allegiant route map today,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant vice president of network and pricing.

The airline is also increasing its service on one existing route from Kansas City, Missouri and two existing routes from Akron / Canton, Ohio to Florida.

The twice-weekly route from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) will now operate three times weekly. Routes from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) have been operating twice weekly and will now operate three times weekly.
