American Airlines adds new service from Los Angeles to Hong Kong

American Airlines is offering its customers more access to Asia, connecting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).

“We announced new domestic Los Angeles routes at the end of January, and customers let us know they wanted more great service to even more destinations,” said Andrew Nocella, chief marketing officer for American Airlines. “This route connects customers in Los Angeles with one of the world’s most important business markets and provides convenient connections to important business and leisure destinations across the Pacific.”

American’s new Los Angeles-Hong Kong service will be operated as part of our joint business with Japan Airlines.

American Airlines and American Eagle offer an average of nearly 6,700 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in more than 50 countries. American has hubs in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C.
