Austrian Airlines starts operating Vienna-Manchester service

Today the first Austrian Airlines flight to Manchester took off from Vienna.

Effective immediately, Austrian Airlines is operating a Fokker 100 aircraft on this route.

The flight departs daily from Vienna at 9:50 a.m. and arrives in Manchester at 11:20 a.m.

In this way the airline is expanding its network in Western Europe. The new flight service to the business location of Manchester serves as an optimal offering for local flight traffic. The destination is not only interesting for point-to-point but especially for transfer passengers, above all due to its transfer connections to the federal provinces of Austria as well as to Central and Eastern Europe.

In addition to the existing 28 weekly flights to London, the additional frequencies from Vienna to Manchester up to seven times per week strengthen the presence of Austrian Airlines on the British market. On balance, Austria’s national carrier flies 35 times each week to Great Britain.
