Bangkok Airways Inaugurates Direct Service from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang

Bangkok Airways announced the launch of its inaugural flight from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang (Laos).

The new Chiang Mai – Luang Prabang flight service is added to Bangkok Airways’ route network in line with the airline’s plan to serve Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam from its strategic hub at Chiang Mai.

Luang Prabang (Laos) is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the city is always on top of mind for both foreigner and Thai travelers who enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and richness of local culture.

Bangkok Airways operates three flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) on the route, with a 70-seater ATR 72-600 aircraft.

The outbound flight PG983 will depart Chiang Mai International Airport at 16.30 hrs and arrive Luang Prabang International Airport at 17.45 hrs. The inbound flight PG984 will depart Luang Prabang International Airport 18.30 hrs and arrive Chiang Mai International Airport at 19.45 hrs.
