Based on an order by Polish travel agencies, Czech Airlines will service new series of charter flights between Radom and Prague from 20 December 2015 to 22 February 2016.
Flights in both directions will be operated by ATR 72 or ATR 42 aircraft with a stop-over in Ostrava. A part of the seat capacity of the individual flights will be available for regular sales at travel agencies or via Czech Airlines’ website.
There will be two return flights operated between Radom and Prague before Christmas and before New Year’s Eve: on 20 and 27 December 2015, departing Radom at 2:45 p.m. and arriving at Václav Havel Airport Prague at 4:45 p.m. In January, departures are planned for Fridays and Sundays at the same times and there are also flights departing Radom on Mondays considered for February operations.
“Flights between Radom, Prague and Ostrava will be operated on a charter basis for a certain period of time, as ordered by Polish travel agencies. This is a one-off, time-limited, new business opportunity. At the moment, we are not considering to re-launch regular scheduled services between Radom and Prague since the original model was not economically feasible. Operating flights on a charter basis with Czech Airlines as a carrier makes sense. If Polish travel agencies are interested in booking a similar series of charter flights in the future and we are able to allocate the required capacity at that time, we will consider such opportunity again,” Ján Tóth, Czech Airlines Director for Commerce and Marketing said.
