Switzerland’s leisure travel airline Edelweiss will operate more flight services in winter 2017/2018.
The airline’s new flight program includes significantly more short-haul and medium-haul flights and gives Edelweiss passengers a bigger choice of flight services to popular holiday destinations in Egypt, Spain and Italy.
From October 2017, the number of flights to the destinations listed below will be increased as follows:
- Hurghada: one additional weekly flight (new: four weekly flights)
- Tenerife: one additional weekly flight (new: six weekly flights)
- Gran Canaria: two additional weekly flights (new: six weekly flights)
- Fuerteventura: one additional weekly flight (new: three weekly flights)
- Seville: one additional weekly flight (new: three weekly flights)
- Catania: two additional weekly flights (new: four weekly flights)
These flights will complement the airline’s existing services.
Furthermore, weekly flight services on the popular Cape Town route will be increased to three and the new holiday destinations San José (Costa Rica) and Cancún (Mexico) flown to in winter as well. Edelweiss will also offer more seasonal flights to Funchal and Marrakesh.
