EL AL adds leased Boeing 767 to its fleet

Israeli airline EL Al announced the addition of a wet-leased Boeing 767-200 to its fleet.

The new aircraft will be leased from Spanish ACMI specialist Privilege Style and is expected to be deployed on EL AL’s route between Tel Aviv and Toronto, between September 18 and October 30.

These flights will be operated by Spanish crews, and EL Al personnel will  join the flight to assist with the service.

Madrid-based Privilege Style is already operating a Boeing 757 and  its sole Boeing 777-200ER on behalf of EL AL.

El Al Israel Airlines is the flag carrier of Israel. Since its inaugural flight from Geneva to Tel Aviv in September 1948, the airline has grown to serve over more than 50 destinations, operating scheduled domestic and international services and cargo flights within Israel and to Europe, Middle East, Americas, Africa and the Far East from its main base in Ben Gurion Airport.

El Al operates an all-Boeing fleet, that includes: Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900ER,  Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400F, Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 777-200ER and has all Boeing 787 variants on order (787-8, 787-9 and 787-10).
