As of April some of the Luton flights will be operated on EL AL’s upgraded 767 aircraft including Economy Class Plus seats

In July 2013 EL AL will add another 5 weekly frequencies to Luton. The total number of weekly flights to London on EL AL’s summer timetable will reach 22, 11 of them to Luton

EL AL Vice President Commercial and Aviation Ties David Maimon said:

“London is a highly popular destination for EL AL passengers in all service classes. It is an attractive year-round tourist destination as well as a business destination for thousands of Israeli business travelers every month. The addition of 6 weekly flights to Luton makes London even more accessible for Israeli travelers. With its expanded frequencies, EL AL can offer both business travelers and vacationers the most attractive flight schedule to this destination.”

As part of expanded cooperation between the airline and Luton Airport, passengers will be able to use a fast track for security check of hand luggage at departure and a fast track passport check on arrival. In addition, Business Class passengers and EL AL Matmid Club members who are entitled to Lounge services will be hosted in the new, spacious Lounge at the airport.
