Emirates selects UTC Aerospace Systems C.A.R.E. program for A380 maintenance

Emirates Airline has selected UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies, for asset management and repair services of components and systems on its fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft.

As part of the customized 15-year C.A.R.E. program agreement UTC Aerospace Systems, under its Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange (C.A.R.E.) program, will provide inventory support and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for 115 A380s operated by Emirates. Products covered under the agreement include air management systems, engine and actuations systems components and the supplemental cooling system.

“UTC Aerospace Systems has a long-standing relationship with Emirates, and we’re proud to now support the world’s largest fleet of A380s through our unique C.A.R.E. program,” said Jim Patrick, Vice President of Commercial Aviation for UTC Aerospace Systems Customer Service. “With this program, we are able to provide Emirates with convenient access to assets in Dubai and more predictable maintenance to support their dispatch reliability targets.”
