ExpressJet Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, announced today that the company’s pilots have voted overwhelmingly to ratify two-year contract extensions to our existing agreements.
The agreement provides many improvements for our pilots, including:
– First year pay rate of $37-40 per hour, pending equipment type
– $1.85 per hour per diem on date of signing, increased to $1.90 per hour on date of signing + 18 months
– Raises at all pay scale rates
– An enhanced profit sharing program that guarantees $1,000 per pilot for 2016 and $1,500 per pilot for 2017
“I want to recognize the efforts of both ALPA negotiating committees, our company negotiating team, and our pilots in ratifying this contract extension. This agreement provides further momentum as we work together to make ExpressJet the best airline for our people and our customers,” said Terry Vais, ExpressJet COO.
The agreement runs through February 2018 and covers all of ExpressJet’s nearly 4,000 pilots.
