flyafrica.com announced today the expansion of its low-fare business model to include a second daily flight between Harare and Johannesburg.
The second daily flight will commence from 30 March. flyafrica.com’s second flight will depart Johannesburg daily at 16:00 and will depart from Harare at 18:05.
Today’s announcement means that flyafrica.com will offer 25% of all flights on this route, the largest regional aviation market in Southern Africa.
“This is another milestone both for our airline and for Zimbabwe,” says Professor Chakanyuka Karase, CEO of Zimbabwe flyafrica.
“South African based airlines have held the lions share of this market for many years and have had limited competition. As a result we have always had to endure high fares to travel to our important trade partner, South Africa.”, he added.
