Flybe adds five new routes

flybe announced three new flights from Birmingham to regional France, and two to Newquay from Glasgow and Liverpool.

Flybe has announced the addition of five more new routes to its 2016 Summer schedule flights namely from Birmingham to Limoges, Nantes and Rennes; and from both Glasgow and Liverpool to Cornwall Airport Newquay.

From Birmingham, the airline is operating a twice weekly service to Limoges, a town of art and history in west-central France. The region is a popular destination for fishing, horse-riding, golf and mountain biking. Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays through to 29th October, 2016.

Flybe will also operate a peak summer service five times a week to Nantes (excluding Tuesdays/Thursdays), the historic port city on the Loire River in western France.

Rennes, the capital city of Brittany, boasts a 2,000 year history. Its architectural mix ranges from the medieval, with cobbled streets and plenty of hidden corners to explore, to 18th century. It is an ideal base from which to discover Brittany, including the Forest of Brocéliande – which legend claims is the home of Merlin, King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake. Flybe flights to Rennes-Saint-Jacques will operate four times a week from Birmingham on Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun.

Flybe has also increased its choice of summer destinations to and from Newquay with the addition of Saturday flights to Cornwall Airport Newquay from both Glasgow and Liverpool.

Flybe’s 2016 Summer schedule now features 156 routes in total.
