InselAir restarts non-stop Medellin – Aruba service

InselAir will restart its non-stop Medellin – Aruba flights because of the increasing demand in both markets.

Demand has increased due to the removal of the visa requirement for Colombians in combination with the start of high season. Flights will be operated by a Fokker 70 type of aircraft on Wednesdays and Sundays. InselAir takes you to Aruba, non-stop, in 90 minutes and offers Economy and Comfort Class service. InselAir is the only airline offering a direct connection with Aruba.

“We have been servicing the Aruban market from Medellin successfully since we started operations from Medellin on April 15th, 2011”, explains Edward Heerenveen, Chief General and International Affairs of InselAir.

“Over de years, especially with the removal of de visa requirements since December 3rd, 2015 for Colombians traveling to Aruba, we have seen a tremendous growth in passengers on this route. Medellin has become one of InselAir’s most important routes and we are determined to further develop this route and the Colombian market.”, concludes Heerenveen.

Besides the 2 direct flights to Aruba, InselAir offers its passengers also the option to fly to Aruba via its hub on Curacao on Tuesdays and Fridays. From both hubs on Aruba and Curacao InselAir also offers a seamless connection to Bonaire amongst other connections to InselAir’s network of 26 destinations.
