KLM flies to Saint Maarten without intermediate stopover

Effective 30 October 2016, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will fly to and from Saint Maarten without an intermediate stopover.

The return flight was previously operated with a standard stopover on Curacao. Flying this route directly will save passengers flying on the route nearly four hours and twenty minutes in traveling time.

KLM will operate three direct flights a week to Saint Maarten and seven direct flights a week to Curacao. The flights to and from Saint Maarten will be operated using Airbus 330-200 equipment seating 243 passengers. The flights to and from Curacao will be operated using Boeing 747-400 equipment seating 408 passengers.

The Dutch flag carrier will also expand its service to the islands of Aruba and Bonaire with an extra flight on Sundays. These flights will be operated using Airbus 330-300 equipment seating 292 passengers.
