The governments of Morocco and the Russian Federation signed an air transport agreement.
This agreement, signed by H.E. Mr. Aziz Rabah, Minister of Equipment, Transport, and Logistics of Morocco, and H.E. Mr. Maxim Sokolov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, stipulates the traffic rights that will be provided to the contracting parties; mainly the landing and takeoff rights given to air carriers carrying passengers, mail and cargo on the specified routes in the annex of the agreement.
The agreement also paves the way for safety consultations on the measures that need to be adopted by both parties; these measures are related to aircraft, cabin crew and passengers to ensure a safe mode of transport and in line with all relevant international conventions.
