Norwegian to launch flights from Los Angeles to Barcelona

Norwegian announced it will launch flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Barcelona, Spain, on June 5, 2017.

The nonstop flights to Spain will operate twice a week until the end of August 2017, when it will add a third weekly flight.

“We congratulate Norwegian on the announcement to launch nonstop service to Barcelona that will provide Angelenos with more low-cost choices to Europe,” said Deborah Flint, Los Angeles World Airports chief executive officer.

“Barcelona is a new nonstop destination for LAX and the new service will strengthen business, tourism, and cultural ties with one of the most desirable regions in Europe while providing connecting service to additional destinations.”

In addition to LAX, Norwegian will also begin Barcelona service next June from Fort Lauderdale, New York

City/Newark, and Oakland.
