As an initial phase in the development of Clark International Airport as its secondary hub, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is mounting flights between Clark and Caticlan.
The new PAL service between Clark and Caticlan (Boracay) will begin on December 16, 2016 utilizing 76-seater Q400 aircraft. The flights, operating seven times weekly, will benefit residents in Northern Metro Manila and Luzon due to the proximity of Clark International Airport to these areas.
The flights from Clark depart at 11:35AM and arrive in Caticlan at 12:50PM; flights from Caticlan leave at 10:00AM and touch down in Clark at 11:15AM.
“We are translating into action our commitment to operate new flights out of Clark. This is a step in the right direction as it enables us to address the needs of our market in the CAMANAVA, Central and Northern Luzon areas. We are working hand in hand with Clark authorities as we prepare for our Clark operations,” PAL President and COO Jaime J. Bautista stressed.
PAL and Clark International Airport authorities have been coordinating in recent months, putting in place the required logistical, technical and administrative requirements in preparation for these new flights.
More flights from Clark to other domestic and international stations will be launched amidst government’s call for local carriers to operate flights from this Central Luzon hub.
