Saudi Arabian Airlines, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, and Garuda Indonesia airlines have expanded their existing bilateral codeshare agreement, which will see Saudia’s code SV added to Garuda Indonesia flights between Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and beyond.
This follows from the existing partnership on flights between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Indonesia operated by Saudia. The expanded agreement will now include flights sold and operated by both airlines to points within both countries, as well as three destinations in Australia, namely Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The additional route will open up additional flight options and reduced journey times by flying with the two carriers, in addition to making it even easier for loyalty card members of each respective airline to accrue and redeem miles for future travel.
Saudia first began codesharing with Garuda Indonesia in 2017.
