Tigerair Australia has canceled all flights to Denpasar (Bali), following what the company says is a decision by the Indonesian Government to impose new administrative requirements for the operation of its flights between Bali and Australia.
“Tomorrow’s daily return Bali flights are under review”, the airline said in a statement.
“We are working with the relevant Indonesian authorities to meet the new requirements and we are hopeful of having flights up and running again as soon as possible”.
All other Tigerair domestic flights are not affected by this decision.
Virgin Australia plans to operate two flights from Bali tomorrow in order to bring as many affected customers back to Australia as possible.
