United Express Adds New Service from Cape Girardeau to Chicago

SkyWest Airlines is launching new United Express jet aircraft service from Cape Girardeau Regional Airport to Chicago O’Hare with a daily stop available in Quincy, Illinois.

The inaugural flight will arrive from Chicago on Friday, Dec. 1 at 12:15 p.m.

The United Express jet service between Cape Girardeau and Chicago connects passengers to United’s hub in Chicago where travelers can access over 550 daily departures to 152 nonstop destinations around the world.

The daily United Express flight is ideally scheduled for both business and leisure travelers, providing well-timed connection opportunities in Chicago.

“Access to reliable local air service means more choice and more convenience for travelers,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest Airlines managing director – Market Development. “We’re pleased to bring United Express flights to Cape Girardeau.”
The flights will be operated by SkyWest Airlines utilizing the 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200). SkyWest is a leading CRJ200 operating and has been named the manufacturer’s most reliable operator in North America five times.
