Vietjet launches two new routes from Hanoi to Taipei and Hue

Vietjet today launched two new routes of Hanoi – Taipeiand Hanoi-Hue at Noi Bai International Airport, looking to meet the increasing travel demand of individuals and tourists, thus help boost the regional trade and integration.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai, Head of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi Richard Shih Rui Chi, dignities from Hanoi city and Thua Thien Hue province and leaders from Vietnam government attended and witnessed the inaugural flight ceremony.

The Hanoi-Taipei route will be operated on a daily basis from October 30, 2016 with the flight time of 3 hours per leg. The flight takes off from Hanoi at 14:05 and lands in Taipei at 18:00 (local time). The return flight departs at 19:10 and arrives in Hanoi at 21:20 (local time).

The Hanoi-Hue route will commence operation on November 1, 2016 with the flight time of one hour and 10 minutes. The flight departs from Hanoi at 12:35 and arrives in Hue at 13:45. The return flight will take off from Hue at 14:20 and arrive in Hanoi at 15:30.

The capital city of Hanoi is well known for its thousand-year historical heritages and serenity. With the two new routes, Vietjet’s flight network has more than 20 routes connecting Hanoi with key destinations in Vietnam and Asia such as Korea, Bangkok, Taipei, etc, thus greatly contributing to the capital city’s economic and tourism growth.
