Wizz Air Announces New Route From Olsztyn-Mazury Airport to Dortmund

Wizz Air today announced a new route from Olsztyn-Mazury Airport to Dortmund.

The newest Wizz Air service will commence on 14 May and operate with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays.

The new route will strengthen business relations between Poland and Germany, while also stimulating the local aviation, tourism and hospitality industries.

Along with Olsztyn-Mazury, Wizz Air offers flights from seven other Polish airports: Warsaw, Katowice, Gdansk, Poznan, Wroclaw, Lublin and Szczecin.

Gabor Vasarhelyi, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said:

“We are excited to announce a long-awaited German route from Olsztyn-Mazury Airport. We are sure that our new Dortmund service will be popular among local Polish business and leisure travelers, who have now direct access to the commercial and cultural centre of the eastern Ruhr area. Our low fares will also attract more German visitors to Masuria stimulating job creation in tourism and hospitality industries. Our newest route will be operated on Mondays and Fridays providing a convenient schedule for weekend getaways.”
