Wizz Air Introduces Its New “Flexible Travel Partner” Service

Wizz Air today introduces its new “Flexible Travel Partner” service, allowing customers to create a new reservation without including all passengers’ names at the time of booking.

This innovative new product has been designed for customers who want to book their trip securing low-cost fares well in advance, yet are uncertain who their travel partners will be.

When purchasing the Flexible Travel Partner service, Wi customers need only provide the name of one passenger but can book a ticket for up to nine further passengers without including their name at the time of booking. Customers can provide the additional names at any point by accessing their online booking before online check-in is required.

Wizz Air constantly strives to improve its services and product portfolio to best meet the needs of savvy travellers, providing customers with more flexibility during the booking process. Today’s announcement follows the recent introduction of Wizz Air’s innovative Fare Lock product, which allows customers to hold a selected fare for a period of 48 hours.

George Michalopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer at Wizz Air, said:

“Following the recent introduction of our Fare Lock service, we are delighted to announce the addition of another innovative service to our ever-growing product portfolio. Flexibility is becoming increasingly important when planning both business and leisure trips. With our new Flexible Travel Partner service customers can leave the decision of who to travel with up until the last minute, while in the meanwhile securing the lowest possible fares. We continue to monitor consumer preferences and build products catered to their every need.”
