Wizz Air starts operating Bucharest – Glasgow route

Wizz Air last week started operating its first low fare flights on the Bucharest – Glasgow service.

The celebratory flights on Friday were welcoming Bucharest passengers with Scottish bagpipe artist and a delicious cake. The new route is operated two times per week on Mondays and Fridays in the winter season, and on Tuesdays and Sundays during the summer season starting at the end of March.

Glasgow, the largest city of Scotland and the third largest city in the UK, is the largest seaport in Britain and home to the famous University of Glasgow. Rich historical and cultural heritage is attracting many international tourists all year round, while active business development and the status of the largest economy in Scotland brings many business travelers to the city.

Wizz Air offers 39 routes to 14 countries from Bucharest, which is the first Romanian destination that now has a Wizz Air connection with the third largest city in the UK.
