Air China Selects V2500 Engines for 18 Firm A320ceo

Air China has selected the V2500 engine to power 18 firm Airbus A320ceo family aircraft.

The V2500 engine is offered through IAE International Aero Engines AG, a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders comprise Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp.; Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH; Japanese Aero Engines Corporation; and MTU Aero Engines GmbH.

Founded in 1988, Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a member of the world’s largest airline network, Star Alliance.

Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. United Technologies Corp., based in Farmington, Connecticut, provides high-technology systems and services to the building and aerospace industries.
