Hong Kong Airlines Launches New Daily Direct Flight Service to Seoul

Commencing 16 December 2016, Hong Kong Airlines will launch daily service between Hong Kong and Incheon International Airport in Seoul, Korea.

Airbus A330 aircraft will be deployed on the route. This new destination will further strengthen the airline’s network in Asia-Pacific, and provide travellers who love South Korea’s cosmopolitan capital with more travel options.

Mr. Li Dianchun, Chief Commercial Officer of Hong Kong Airlines said:

As the capital of Korean culture, fashion and entertainment, Seoul has long been a favourite among Hong Kong travellers. For those who looking for a nature retreat, Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province and Incheon are just a short train ride away. Hong Kong Airlines will continue to grow our route network in Asia, and strengthen Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s major aviation hubs.”

In addition, as Christmas and Chinese New Year vacation is approaching, starting 9 December Hong Kong Airlines will increase the frequency of its flight services to Gold Coast/ Cairns from three times to five times weekly, and daily during Chinese New Year; while flight services to Auckland will be increased from seven times to ten times weekly commencing 10 December, providing more flexibility for passengers to plan for a trip during the festive seasons in the Down Under.
