Ryanair has announced that it will end its GDS partnership with Amadeus on 15 December next after both parties were unable to reach a renewed commercial agreement.
Ryanair will continue to service travel agents through its GDS partnerships with Travelport and Sabre whose commercial agreements remain unchanged.
Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said:
“Our distribution partnership with Amadeus, which has been in place since September 2014, will end on 15 December next after a new commercial agreement could not be reached. We wish Amadeus well and thank them for their support during our successful GDS partnership. We will continue to work together through our use of the Navitaire platform, an Amadeus company.
Customers should rest assured that this cessation with has no impact whatsoever on access to Ryanair’s low fares, which are still, and will continue to be, available to book directly on Ryanair.com, the world’s largest airline website.”
